Ginger: The Dog Who Surprised Everyone

Several years ago, when a county animal shelter needed to paint their floors, they asked no-kill shelters and rescuers to help them by taking as many dogs as possible. The rest were to be euthanized. LifeLine Animal Project responded by taking several dogs and cats into their no-kill shelter. And when they saw that a dog and her puppies were going to be left behind, LifeLine took them too.
Wagging Trails

What do you get when you take 24 excited kids, combine them with 12 eager shelter dogs, and put them in a serene state park setting to walk on nature trails? You get healthier kids!
How a Pit Bull on Death Row Beat the Odds

He wasn’t supposed to make it. One look at Walter and shelter officials quickly labeled the 55-pound American pit bull terrier unsafe, placing him on the list for euthanasia. He was to become one of the four million dogs and cats who are put down in U.S. shelters each year, but Walter got lucky. LifeLine Animal Project heard about him, and decided he needed a second chance.

For the month of June, it's "Creatures for Teachers"! Rescued dogs and cats can be teacher's pets this month when LifeLine waives all adoption fees for educators and school administrators in Georgia.
Free Pet Adoptions to Honor Girl Scouts

LifeLine Animal Project salutes the Girl Scouts on their 100th anniversary and local Scouts reciprocate by helping homeless pets. Throughout the month of March, we are waiving all dog and cat adoption fees for present and past Girl Scouts and Scout leaders!
