Aiming to help keep pets out of the shelter and with the families who love them, LifeLine Animal Project will be providing free veterinary services and pet supplies at “Healthy Pets Fulton” on Saturday, April 20, 2019. This first-come, first-served event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at Washington Park, 102 Ollie Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30314, and no registration is necessary. LifeLine will be providing Fulton County residents with free vaccinations for their pets provided by licensed veterinarians, vouchers for free spay/neuters to use at LifeLine’s Spay & Neuter Clinics, free microchipping, free pet registration, free dog and cat food, free collars and leashes and much more!
According to LifeLine’s Fulton County Animal Services Director Lara Hudson, LifeLine addresses the root causes of animal homelessness and seeks out innovative ways to become part of the solution. “Community outreach is an integral part of LifeLine’s holistic approach to reducing the number of animals coming into Atlanta’s animal shelters,” says Hudson. “By holding Healthy Pets events four times per year, LifeLine hopes to decrease the number of animals ending up in shelters by improving the quality of life for pets and their families and preventing unplanned litters.”
