All Animals Eligible for Free Adoptions!

ATLANTA, GA – As summer brings more animals into Atlanta's shelters, LifeLine Animal Project's DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services shelters are receiving up to 60 animals every day! To help promote adoptions, LifeLine is holding a fee-waived lifesaving adoption event now through this Sunday, June 16. Everyone is invited to adopt a new family member from any of LifeLine’s four shelters for FREE! All adoptions include the pet’s spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations, valued at over $300, for no additional cost!

Participating shelters include: DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee; Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta; LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake Street, Avondale Estates; and LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Scottdale.

Between LifeLine’s four shelters, there are over 995 animals to choose from, so everyone is sure to find the perfect new dog, cat, puppy or kitten to add to their family!

Additionally, LifeLine’s DeKalb County Animal Services shelter, along with the Atlanta Humane Society and Best Friends Atlanta shelters, will be open until 10 p.m. this Saturday for a "Paws in PJs" pajama party, featuring animals in pajamas and free adoptions! To learn more, please visit
